After closure of the activities from the official programme, KISMIF Conference dedicates the entirely day to the summer school entitled “Mappin ‘Your Own Underground”. This event, which takes place at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, offers the opportunity to all students, including participants in KISMIF, to discuss issues or even their investigations in sessions led by relevant interveners.
Discussions begin with Lucy Robinson, professor at the University of Sussex and co-founder of Subcultures Network, continuing, still in the morning, with Vítor Sérgio Ferreira, sociologist, with the artist Miguel Januário (±MAISMENOS±) and the well known hip-hop artist Capicua.
After lunch kick off the various workshops, which rely on the presence of names like Andy Bennett, Paula Guerra, Samantha Bennett, Marion Leonard, Peter Webb, J. Mark Percival, João Queirós, Pedro Costa, Mike Dines and Alastair Gordon.
