KISMIF, DAY 2

This Monday is marked by the entrance to the KISMIF Conference main schedule. Right after the official opening, at Casa da Música, the first lecture with Andy Bennett and Catherine Strong, at 9h30, followed by some parallel sessions. In the afternoon, at 13h30, the highlight of the day, with two luxury guests: Billy Bragg and Steve Ignorant, striking names from the musical history of the last decades. This conference will be followed by other sessions until 18h15.

At 19h00 will open the exhibition “All we ever wanted was everything” by Vera Marmelo, at Teatro Rivoli, followed by the book launch for “From Coimbra to London: to live the punk dream and meet my tribe” and “Sounds Transglobal. Music, youth and migration “.

The closure of the day will be dedicated to The Parkinsons, with a screening of documentary by Caroline Richards, and the concert of the portuguese band, followed by DJ set by Victor Torpedo and Chris Low. All at the Teatro Rivoli, from 21h30.
